Introduction

The  F collar stop tools is mainly composed of an upper joint, locking nut, positioning claws, spring clips, shear pins, cylindrical pins, etc. 

The F collar stop tools as the name suggests, is a fixator that sits inside the oil pipe coupling to fix the pressure gauge. When performing the operation, it is necessary to cooperate with the corresponding lowering tools and go down the well together.

method of application

1. The F collar stop tools must be connected and sent down the well by the corresponding lowering tool. 
2. When the tool is lowered, the spring clip is in a locked state, which causes the positioning claws to contract, facilitating the smooth descent of the tool. 
3. When the tool passes through the tubing coupling, it is vibrated downward to impact the lowering tool. The spring clip opens, releasing the positioning claws, and the positioning claws spring open, gripping the inner arm of the tubing coupling to fix the pressure gauge and prevent it from moving.

method of Disassembly

1. Use the punch to remove the elastic cylindrical pin and then take off the spring clip; 
2. Impact to cut the shear pin, and pull out the connecting piece between the upper joint and the locking nut from the opening end of the positioning claw; 
3. Use the punch to remove the elastic cylindrical pin and unscrew the connection bolt of the upper joint and the locking nut.

maintenance

1. When using, carefully check whether all components are properly connected and whether the accessories are loose to prevent any parts from falling off during the descent, which could cause unnecessary troubles.
2. When not in use for the time being, place the tools in a spacious area to prevent the spring clips from deforming due to compression.
